What is the gate time in the HI 3010 configuration?

The HI 3010 Filler/Dispenser can monitor proof switches verifying if a fill/dispenser valve actuated. The gate time setting allows the unit to verify a valve change state. If a valve state change is not received in the allotted time, an alarm will trigger indicating the valve (gate) did not open/close.

Monitoring switches is not required, but it is another helpful way of having an error indication to help troubleshoot a process problem.
