What are the EMI Suppression Cores that came with my HI 1769-WS module used for?

Answer

These EMI Suppression Cores (ferrite beads) are used to help reduce ambient electromagnetic noise from entering the analog/digital circuitry of the HI 1769WS and HI 1769-2WS weigh scale modules via the load cell cables.

EMI Suppression Cores are supplied with every HI 1769-WS and HI 1769-2WS weigh scale modules.
