What is the difference between sequential and simultaneous feed on a HI 3010?

What are the differences between sequential and simultaneous feed using a HI 3010? Please explain dual vs single speed settings and auto fast adjust.

How does the fast weight setting work on the HI 3010?

How does the fast weight setting parameter work on the HI 3010? Please explain how I should use this setting.

When should I use Auto fast adjust under the HI 3010 speed menu?

When would I use or not use Auto fast adjust under the HI 3010 speed menu? I'm getting a small fast weight amount, but my slow feed auto pre act is very large. This gives me erratic batches.

Will the HI 3010 feeder stop during a jog ON time if I reach target weight?

Will the feeder stop during a jog ON time if I reach target weight? I have jog on set to 5 seconds and off for 2 seconds for a total count of 4 jogs. If I reach my target weight half way through a jog on, will the feeder stop?

How does the HI 3010 refill parameter work?

How does the HI 3010 refill parameter work?

What is the difference between discharge, auto discharge and OK to discharge?

The discharge, auto discharge and OK to discharge parameters on the HI 3010 are confusing. When would I use one discharge type over another discharge?

What is the difference between zero tolerance and auto zero tolerance parameters on the HI 3010?

What is the difference between the zero tolerance and auto zero tolerance parameters on the HI 3010?

Can I control I/O over DeviceNet on my HI 3000 series unit?

Can I control I/O over DeviceNet on my HI 3000 series controller (HI 3010, HI 3030, HI 3300 or HI 3600)? For example: I have a master controller which would be the weight controller, but I need to add I/O and a drive. Can I do that? What programming language do you use to control the logic of the operation? How are your parameters sent over Ethernet and can I capture net and tare weight via Ethernet or DeviceNet?

How many words does a DeviceNet slave use?

How many words does a HI 3000 DeviceNet slave use in the data table when configured as a slave and mapped as one more device controlled by a DeviceNet scanner in a PLC?

Where do I get 5 volts to keep CTS high in a HI 2151/30WC?

We are using a HI 2151/30WC with the B12 Profibus option. We have implemented serial communications (RS-232) from the Hardy to a third party display (wiring just the TXD and GND signals). We configured the Hardy for continuous print of Gross weight. In order to initiate communications we were told we have to apply a positive voltage to the CTS in the Hardy. We tested this using a 9 V battery and the communications worked. Is there somewhere on the Hardy unit that we could pick up this voltage to keep CTS high (as opposed to using an external source)?
